I have been doing high-end consulting and support work for clients in the Cincinnati area now for over eleven years. Many of my clients have faithfully followed me from one consulting and support firm to the next. Having created these great relationships has inspired me to go into business so that I could nurture them on my own. Dentar, Inc. was incorporated April 24, 2002 to provide full time access to this endeavor.
While the bottom line is important, some companies concentrate way too much on it, losing focus on the mission of the company. Concentrating only on the bottom line leads to sacrifices elsewhere, which can lead to client dissatisfaction, which, ironically, lowers the bottom line.
The only way to have integrity is through your actions. All actions, past, present and future, make up the whole of one's integrity, and other people notice it. These actions yield whatever is sown. Words mean very little when not followed through. Integrity and quality do not come from hanging motivational posters or mission statements on cubicle walls, or by flashy feel-good advertising.
My philosophy has always been the same. The only way to be effective is to maintain a personal relationship with each client, remain intimately involved with their operating environment, and have a high level of technical expertise. You can't just go through the motions and become an expert. You cannot get there by "cutting corners" or by only concentrating on the bottom line.
